The workshop provides an overview of the current technological developments in the field of materials and processes for thermal solar systems. Speakers from major European research institutes and companies present recent disclosures and their applications in the production of renewable energy through concentrated solar power, photovoltaic, solar heating and cooling, and more. In particular, results from 5 large European research projects in the field of concentrated solar power are presented and outlooks for the future of the industry discussed.
