NEXTOWER's banner was displayed in the main hall of the Sustainable Places Conference (27-29 June, 2018) which was attended by more than 150 people. Among those attendants were representatives from the European Commission, who organised the EASME Contractors Meeting during the event. R2M explained NEXTOWER to several attendees who were also interested in the Renewable Electricity Generation potential of the CSP systems. Further discussion included the use of CSP in the mid-temperature range for providing industrial heat, one subject that, albeit not fully aligned with NEXTOWER, it is certainly worth considering for several of the developments, for example the receivers
