On 09-10 May 2019, a NEXTOWER Workshop on Advanced Materials for Renewable Energy Applications with participation of Dr. Dileep SINGH (Senior Materials Scientist/Group Leader, Thermal & Structural Materials - Argonne National Laboratory, USA) and Dr. Luca TURCHETTI (Research Scientist, Solar Thermal Energy Division - ENEA -ITALY) was delivered to POLITO students.
About 50 people attended the lectures and discussed about the role of ceramics and composites on renewable energy and in particular on Concentrated Solar Power. The activities of NEXTOWER project have been summarised.
