The 10th Italian Welding Days (Giornate Nazionali della Saldatura) event, organised by the Italian Institute of Welding (IIS-Istituto Italiano della Saldatura), was held on 30-31 May 2019 at the Porto Antico Conference Center, Genoa, Italy. This premier event for Italy in the world of welded constructions and products is being arranged with special attention to the scientific and technical contents of papers and presentations, focusing on significant subjects and topics of utmost interest, and featuring innovations in welding and their benefits to industry.
During the workshop on metallurgy topic organised in its framework, an oral presentation on the results obtained by the welding tests carried out in the framework of NEXTOWER have been presented.
